About The Role:

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineering Intern to join our growing team. This unique role provides the opportunity to deliver solutions throughout the stack, from PSNERGY devices deployed at the industrial process edge to our cloud based user interfaces. Building on our base stack, you will lead the software design effort to deliver actionable data and enhanced features to help customers reduce emissions. You will work closely with our integrated design team of Mechanical, Electrical, and Embedded engineers in a highly collaborative environment. To be successful in this role you will think strategically, deliver tactically, and display leadership qualities.

What You'll Achieve:

Design, develop, test, and deploy software across the stack
Own architecture decisions with autonomy
Work closely with engineering, sales, and leadership teams to develop technology roadmap
Provision, onboard, and manage new customer installations and deployments

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

Willingness to lead, have a bias for action in problem solving, bring innovative ideas, and own results
Strong knowledge of a modern cloud stack, and tools and mechanisms within
Advanced programming skills (Python, Javascript is a plus)
Linux experience, including command line and shell scripting
Experience with at least one of SQL/MySQL/Influx/NoSQL/Postgres databases
Basic knowledge of machine learning and data analytics
Networking basics: TCP vs UDP, basic troubleshooting, HTTP & MQTT - load balancing, firewall, VPN
Interdisciplinary ability to understand technical concepts of electro-mechanical products and applications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience - portfolio of successful projects

Nice to Haves:

Experience with InfluxDB, InfluxQL, Flux, TICK is a huge plus
Experience with Systems Monitoring/Alerting (Grafana, Pagerduty)
Deep familiarity with GCP and AWS offerings
Containerization technologies and best practices
Experience in front-end web technologies such as React, HTML, CSS,
